This study purports to study part-time jobs as ladder to regular employment in that part time jobs have a potential to turn to regular jobs. Part time jobs are pretty much part of the youth's life. However, socially part time jobs held by the youth have been relatively ignored since the impact of part time jobs on the future jobs is deemed insignificant.Recently, the chance of the youth to engage in part time jobs are increasing in Korea. But, the institutional framework to acknowledge and certify the experience of the youth in part time jobs is not ready. Therefore, we must try to establish the system to connect the experience in part time jobs with the chance of regular employment.First, the governmental policy should support related labor laws and increase financial support for part time jobs. Second, social opinion leaders should try to improve the job ladder system for the less experienced youth can easily transfer to the world of full-time job.
