일반논문 : 빈곤이 아동의 건강에 미치는 영향 -발달 단계별 비교를 중심으로- = Effects of Poverty on Physical Health of Children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 빈곤이 아동의 건강에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 빈곤이 건강에 미치는 영향이 아동의 발달 단계별로 차이가 있는가를 비교하였다. 본 연구의 분석 자료는 2010년12월 전주시교육지원 청에서 조사한 자료이며, 회귀분석이 사용되었다. 분석결과, 빈곤은 아동의 건강에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 상대적으로 중학교 시기에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 아동의 건강에 대한 빈곤의 영향은 방임이나 부모의 감독정도, 그리고 부모-자녀 간 애착 등의 변수를 통해 전달되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 빈곤한 아동을 위한 사회적 지원이 건강 부문에도 이루어져야 함을 보여주는 것이며, 그 사회적 지원이 부모의 양육행동이나 가족기능에 집중될 필요가 있음을 보여주는 것이다.

Purpose of this research is to analyze that poverty influences in physical health of child. Data come from Jeollabukdo Jeon-ju Office of Education. Analysis method is multiple regression. Result show that poverty influences in physical health of child. And poverty influences through process variable such as family function. Finding from this study suggest that societal support for poor families contributes to improving physical health of child.
