The objective of this study was to determine the effect of supplementing different levels of grape marc (GM) on performance, nutrient digestibility, carcass traits and meat quality in broiler chicks. A total of 240 day-old Ross broilers were randomly allocated into 3 treatments and each treatments had 4 replicates. The birds were fed diets containing 0, 3, and 5 % of GM for 5 wks. Supplementation with GM tend to linearly improved weight gain however, intake and feed conversion ratio remained unaffected during the overall period (0-5 wk). The digestibility EE was linearly increased as the increasing of DM supplementation. The dressing percent age and breast meat were significantly increased when the birds were fed with 5% GM supplemented diet. The meat color did not differ among the treatments however, yellowness showed a linear decrease at finisher phase. During starter, the TBARS value was reduced in breast muscle at 8 day of storage. Similar trend was observed 8 and 12 day of storage during finisher with the increasing inclusion of GM in the diets. It could be concluded that supplementation with 5% GM was beneficial in improving the performance and meat quality and could extend the shelf life of broiler meat.
