장애인의 장애수용이 기초생활보장 수급탈피의향에 미치는 영향 : 고용서비스 이용경험의 매개효과를 중심으로 = The Impact of the Disabled's Acceptance of Disability on the Will to Escape from Being Welfare Recipient : Mediation Effect of the Experiencing Employment Services

Purpose: This study aims to validate the impact of the disabled’s acceptance of disability onthe will to escape from being welfare recipients, and to test the mediation effect ofexperiencing employment services. Method: Structural equation modeling method wasemployed to test the direct and indirect effects of the variables. The data from The PanelSurvey of Employment for the Disadvantaged(PSED) were used to analyze the researchmodel. Results: A statistically significant mediation effect of experiencing employmentservices was found between the disabled’s acceptance of disability and the will to escapefrom being welfare recipients. However, a direct effect of the disabled’s acceptance ofdisability on the will to escape from being welfare recipients was found to benon-significant. Implication: In order to facilitate the will to escape from being welfarerecipients, practical implications and policy suggestions related to employment services wereproposed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 장애인의 장애수용이 기초생활 수급탈피 의향에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 고용서비스 이용경험의 매개효과를 중심으로 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 장애인고용 패널조사 제4차년도 횡단자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 분석 결과 장애인의 장애수용과수급탈피 의향 간 고용서비스 이용경험의 매개효과 검증에서 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났으며, 장애수용이 수급탈피 의향에 미치는 직접효과는 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 연구결과를 토대로 장애인의 장애수용 정도를 높임으로써 수급탈피 의향을 촉진하고자 장애수용도 제고와 고용서비스 이용경험을 강화할 수 있는 정책적‧실천적 방안들을 모색하였다.
