발달장애인의 일(노동)에 대한사회복지사의 주관적 인식유형 : Q 방법론의 적용 = The Subjective Perception of the Social Worker on the Work (Labor) of People with Developmental Disabilities : Application of Q Methodology

The purpose of this study is to explore how social workers in the field recognize thework(labor) of people with developmental disabilities in the difficult situation ofemployment of the disabled. Q-Methodology was used to achieve the purpose of this study. The result of the study on the type of subjective by using Q-Methodology, three types werederived as follows; Type 1 is titled as ‘Type of prejudice against social participation’because they have a negative view that work(labor) to the people with developmentaldisabilities is an only vain empty ideal that is very hard to reach in reality. Type 2 is titledas ‘Type of emphasis on social integration’ because they have a strong perception thatwork(labor) of the people with developmental disabilities is integrated with community. Type 3 is titled as ‘type of acceptance of social independence’ because they have positivecognition that work(labor) to the people with developmental disabilities is not easy but it isa positive aspect to take care of themselves in terms of value. This study has significance researching on the perception of work(labor) of social workersin the field that have direct and powerful influence to the work(labor) of people withdevelopmental disabilities and raise recognition on it because work(labor) is very importantfor social integration, human life and self-actualization in reality.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 장애인들의 고용이 어려운 현실에서 현장의 사회복지사들이 발달장애인들의 일(노동)을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 탐색하려는 목적을 가지고 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을달성하기 위해 Q-방법론을 활용하였다. Q방법을 활용하여 주관적 유형에 대한 연구결과 3가지 유형이 도출되었다. 유형 1은 발달장애인에게 일(노동)이란 하나의 공허한 이상일 뿐 현실적으로 도달하기 어려운 부정적 견해를 가지고 있어 ‘사회참여 편견형’이라 명명하였다. 유형 2는 발달장애인의 일(노동)은 사회공동체와의 통합적인 인식이 강하기에 ‘사회통합 강조형’이라 명명하였다. 유형 3은 발달장애인에게 일(노동)은 쉬운 일이 아니지만 가치적인측면에서 자립하는 데에 긍정적인 인식이기에 ‘사회자립 수용형’이라 명명하였다. 본 연구는 일(노동)이 사회적 통합이나 인간적인 삶, 자아실현 등에 매우 중요한 현실에서 발달장애인의 일에 직접적이고 강력한 영향을 끼치는 현장 사회복지사의 일(노동)에 대한 인식을알아보고 그 인식을 유형화하였다는 것에 의의가 있다.
