엔더몰로지 적용이 비만개선 효과에 미치는 영향 = Impacts of Applying Endermology on Obesity Management

This study aims to determine the impact of applying Endermology on obesity management. Body measurements were conducted before, during and after Endermology whole body treatment. The subjects of the study were 11 women in their 20s to 50s who visited E Aesthetics, in Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. A total of 15 Endermology full body treatments were performed on each subject 3 weekly treatments for 5 weeks. Body weight, skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass, body fat percentage, and BMI were measured with InBody, and arm circumference, chest circumference, waist circumference, and thigh circumference were measured with a tape measured before treatment, after 5 treatments, after 10 treatments, and after 15 treatments. Compared to before management, after 15 treatments, the average right arm circumference, left arm circumference, underchest circumference, waist circumference, right thigh circumference, and left thigh circumference decreased by 6.10cm (P<0.00), 6.41cm (P<0.00), 10.69cm (P<0.00), 15.64cm (P<0.00), 8.51cm (P<0.00), and 9.91cm (P<0.00), respectively, which showed a statistically significant difference. Compared to before treatment, after 15 treatments, the average body weight, body fat mass, body fat percentage, and BMI decreased by 2.09kg (P<0.01), 3.48kg (P<0.00), 4.2% (P<0.00), and 0.83kg/m² (P<0.01), respectively. which showed a statistically significant difference. Skeletal muscle mass increased by 1.09kg (P<0.02) after 15 treatments, which showed a statistically significant difference. The research results show that Endermology management can be applied as an efficient method for obesity management.
