피부미용사의 개인위생 필요성에 관한 연구 = A Study on Needs of Estheticians` Individual Hygiene

This research was performed on 630 estheticians who work at the esthetic shops in Seoul by self-administered questionnaire survey, and the results of the research on estheticians` awareness on sanitary knowledge and their practice degree of personal sanitary knowledge and the necessity of personal sanitation along with the education on personal sanitation obligation can be summarized as follows. The result of 5 score criterion analysis of estheticians` sanitary knowledge appeared to be average 4.21, practice degree of personal sanitary knowledge 3.68, and the necessity of personal sanitation 4.34, i.e. the necessity of personal sanitation appeared to be the highest(p<.001), with regard to the necessity of the regulation of estheticians` personal sanitation obligation by public health control act appeared to be ‘necessary’ 70.8% (p<.01), and regarding the practice of estheticians` personal sanitation obligation by public health control act, ‘topractise’ appeared to be 96.4% (p<.01), when it is regulated. Therefore, the necessity of estheticians`` personal sanitation is considered tobe able to form the reliability in the society on the whole by the development of beauty industry and the suggestion of safe legal guideline of obligation regulation on personal sanitation, awaken expectations of positive effect of estheticians` sanitary knowledge awareness and practice degree of personal sanitary knowledge, and contribute to the national people`s promotion of health.
