청소년방과후아카데미 프로그램에 대한 효과성 인식이 참여청소년의 심리사회적응 및 학업성취요인에 미치는 영향 = The Influence of Perceived Effect of Youth-After-School-Academy Programs on Psychological and Social Adjustment and academic achievement factors of Adolescents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 첫째, 지역별, 참여기간별, 학교급별로 방과후아카데미 프로그램에 대한 효과성 인식과 심리사회적응 및 학업성취요인을 파악하고, 둘째, 각 프로그램에 대한 효과성 인식이 청소년의 심리사회적 적응 및 학업성취에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 파악하고자 수행되었다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역별 차이를 보았을 때, 프로그램에 대한 효과성 인식, 심리사회적응, 학업성취 요인에서 전반적으로 광역시와 농산어촌지역의 수준이 중소도시에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 참여한지 1년 이하의 청소년이 프로그램 효과성을 가장 높게 지각하였으나 실제 심리사회적 적응은 참여기간에 따른 차이가 없었고, 실제 학업성적은 3년 이상 참여한 집단이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학교급별로 보았을 때 초등학생의 경우 중학생보다 프로그램 효과성에 대한 인식이 높고, 심리사회적 변인 및 학업성취관련요인의 점수가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학업성적 자체는 중학생이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 초등학생과 중학생 모두 교과목의 효과성 인식이 심리사회적 적응에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 그 외에 주중체험프로그램과 지역사회참여활동도 중요한 요인인 것으로 나타나 현재 방과후아카데미에서 제공되고 있는 프로그램이 청소년의 심리사회적응과 학업성취에 효과적임을 시사하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was accomplished to compare the difference of perceived effect of Youth-After-School-Academy Programs and level of psychological/social adjustment and academic achievement by region, attendant period, and school level, and to analyse the influence of perceived effect of programs on psychological/social adjustment and academic achievement of adolescents attending Youth-After-School-Academy. The results were as followed. First, the perceived effects of the program, psychological adaptation level, and academic achievement factor were different by region. Second, the group which have attended below one year had showed the highest perception about program, and the level of academic achievement was highest in the group that have attended above three years, but there was no group difference in psychological/social adjustment by attendant periods. Third, the elementary school students had better perception of program effect and higher level of psychological/social adjustment than the middle school students, but the middle school students` academic achievement was higher than that of the elementary school students. Forth, Academic program, youth activities, and participation of community activities were the effective factors in psychological/social adjustment of adolescents. This results showed the After-School-Academy program is effective program for the development of adolescents.
