문법화 이론의 관점에서 본 한일 양 언어의 언어접촉에 의한 언어변화

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 (i) 한일 양 언어의 언어접촉에 의한 언어변화 특히 문법구조의 변화에 주목해 이를 문법화 이론의 관점에서 밝히는 것, (ii) 그동안 후속연구과제로 남겨졌던 한일 양 언어의 문법구조 특히 부정표현 및 부조사 등의 언어변화 현상을 총괄적으로 밝히는 것, (iii) 본 연구결과를 학계 및 교육계 등에 적극적으로 발신(發信)하는 것이다. 한국어 및 일본어는 물론이고 인간의 언어는 지금 이 순간에도 끊임없이 변하고 있다. 인간 언어의 변화에 있어서 무엇보다 흥미로운 점은 그냥 변하는 것 같은 언어가 사실은 규칙적이고 체계적으로 변한다는 사실이다. 그러므로 이와 같은 ‘인간 언어의 변화가 ‘왜(why)’ 그리고 ‘어떠한(how) 원리’에 의해 이루어지는가’에 대한 물음은 언어학 연구의 중요한 연구과제임에 틀림이 없을 것이다. 언어학에서 역사적인 것이 아닌 것은 과학적이 아니라고 주창한 헤르만 파울(Herman Paul)의 말은 역사주의적 관점의 중요성을 단적으로 표현하고 있다. 김유범(2006:430)의 주장대로 언어현상에 대해 공시적 관점만이 적용된 연구는 현상의 본질을 제대로 파악하지 못하는 경우뿐만 아니라, 때로는 본질을 왜곡하여 파악하도록 하는 경우까지 야기하므로 그 한계가 있을 수 있다고 생각된다. 철저한 공시적 기술의 바탕 위에 역사적 통찰과 해명이 결부될 때 언어현상은 비로소 그 정체가 규명되었다고 말할 수 있는데 본 연구과제는 공시적 및 통시적 연구방식을 통해 연구목표를 달성시키겠다.
본 연구의 결과를 국내외의 학계에 적극적으로 발신하여 2편의 KCI급 논문, 1편의 SCOPUS급 논문 그리고 등재지 이상 발행기관 주체 국제학술대회에서 총 15회의 독창적인 논문발표를 수행하였다. 이러한 적극적인 연구활동에 힙입어, 한국 일어일문학계 최초로 미국, 영국 등 세계 3대 세계인명사전에 등재 및 수상 등이 또 하나의 연구성과라 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to (i) focus on the changes in language structure, especially grammatical structure, in terms of language contact between Korean and Japanese languages, (ii) clarify this from the perspective of grammaticalization theory and (Iii) actively publicize the results of this research to academia.
Natural languages as well as Korean and Japanese are constantly changing at this moment. What is most interesting about the change of human language is the fact that the language is changing in a regular and systematic manner. Therefore, the question of 'why' and 'how' in regard to human language change is an important research task of linguistic research.
The results of this research have been actively disseminated to academic circles in Korea and overseas. Specifically, two KCI-grade research papers and one SCOPUS-grade paper have been publicized and a total of 15 original papers were presented at the linguistic societies in Korea and overseas. In addition to these active research activities, I have been selected as one of the World's most accomplished researchers in the world's three top biographical resources such as Who's Who in the World and International Biographic Center for four consecutive years which is the first achievement in Japanese academic soci
