독일 사회교육기관의 교육자 교육 = Training of Educators at Institution of Social Education in Germany

The purpose of this study is to analyze the training of educators at the institution of social education in Germany. -The training at colleges of education typically takes three years. The training of educators is divided into two phases : First there is a two-year course of study concentrating on specialist theories, in which they must pass a comprehensive final exam and second a one-year training in institution of social education supervised by the college. After the last year another exam is taken and finally, the educator is certified by the government. -In comparison to primary school teachers, and in contrast to educators in other European countries, such as France, England, and Scotland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland and Italy, the training of educators is much shorter in Germany and their socioeconomic status in considerably lower.
