In this paper, the optimized bit rate R_(bopt) of M-QAM is proposed, over Gaussian channel, we optimise the bit rate of QAM two sub-CH, and compare two sub-CH with QAM one sub-CH using an equalizer. The result shows that M-QAM with optimized bit rate is able to multiplex more efficiently.
In the twisted pair cable dominated by near end crosstalk, the optimized bit rate of QAM two sub-CH is compared to QAM one sub-CH with an equalizer. As compared results, R_(bmax) of the two sub-CH is improved by more than 40 percent.
As a result, in order to improve SNR, the propsed method can be use to a channel dominated by near end crosstalk
