Since the middle period of the 19th century, as a result of natural disastersand the local government officials`` tyranny, inhabitants on the northern border ofKorean peninsula continued to cross the border into China to reclaim wastelandand make a living. Especially after the mergence of Korea and Japan in 1910,the number of Korean immigrants forced into China increased rapidly because ofJapan``s barbarous colonial rule in Korea. These immigrants formed up differentsizes of kibbutz in Northeast China. Compared with those in prior times, theseKorean immigrants around the mergence of Korea and Japan have manycharacteristics. They had multiple motivations, complicated ways and they werewidely distributed. They also had new changes in many aspects such as socialrelations, production and life, education and religion.
