학교만족도에 대한 교육복지지원사업의 조절효과: 서울시 초등학교를 중심으로 = A Study on the Effect of the Education-Welfare Investment Priority Area Project

This study set out to investigate the effect of the Education-Welfare Investment Priority Area Project. Data came from SELS 2010 and SELS 2011. The final sample size was 587 students from 12 elementary schools that participated in the Project and 2,399 students from 49 non-participating schools in Seoul, South Korea. And two-level hierarchical linear model was used for analysis. The major findings are as follows. First, the Project indicated statistically significant effects in increasing levels of school satisfaction. Second, the Project moderated the link between friend relationship and school satisfaction. And the Project moderated the relations between teacher relationship and school satisfaction. These results suggest that the Project has positive effect on improving students' school lives and moderate the relations between attachment relationship with social support system and school satisfaction. Limitations of the findings from this study were discussed with respect to further studies.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 저소득 지역 초등학교를 대상으로 실시되고 있는 교육복지지원사업이 학생들의 학교만족도 개선에 효과를 보이는지 평가하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울시 교육종단연구 1차년도와 2차년도 조사자료를 결합하여 교육복지지원사업을 실시하고 있는 12개 초등학교와 49개 일반학교 학생 총 2,986명의 자료를 HML으로 분석하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육복지지원사업은 학생들의 학교만족도의 개선에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육복지 실시학교는 일반학교에 비해 교우관계와 담임교사 관계가 학교만족도에 미치는 영향이 유의하게 완화되는 조절효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 교육복지지원사업의 효과에 대해 논의하였다.
