In response to the growing significance of air logistics in landlocked countries, this study evaluates thecompetitiveness of air cargo airports in Mongolia. Recognizing the strategic importance of Mongoliaas a logistics hub between Northeast Asia and Europe, this research identifies key competitivenessfactors and assesses their performance and potential for improvement. Using the Importance–Performance–Improvement Analysis (IPIA) method, the study analyzes survey data collected fromstakeholders in the Mongolian air cargo industry. The findings indicate that while certain factors suchas infrastructure and accessibility are perceived as important, they often fall short in performance, highlighting areas requiring urgent improvement. This study provides policymakers and industrystakeholders with practical implications to enhance Mongolia’s position in the regional air logisticsnetwork.
