진로교육 프로그램이 고등학생의 진로성숙도 및 자기효능감에 미치는 효과 = (The) Effects of career education program on career maturity and self-efficacy for high school students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 진로교육프로그램을 단계적으로 적용하여 진로성숙도와 자기효능감 향상에 미치는 효과에 대해 검증해 보고, 이를 근거로 하여 진로 상담을 통해 학생들에게 적합한 진로를 선택하도록 돕는데 있다.
본 연구대상은 경기도 Y시 지역에 소재하고 있는 Y고등학교 1학년학생 300명(실험집단 150명, 통제집단 150명)이며, 실험집단 학생은 8주에 걸쳐 주 1∼2회씩 11회 동안 매회 50분씩 진로교육프로그램을 실시하고, 통제집단에게는 아무런 처치도 가하지 않았다.
프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해서 진로성숙도 검사와 자기효능감 검사를 사전-사후에 실시하였으며, 진로성숙도 검사는 한국교육개발원(1992)이 제작한 것을 사용하였고, 자기효능감 검사는 김정숙(2001)이 제작한 것을 사용하였다.
연구 결과, 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 진로성숙도와 자기효능감이 향상되었으며, 진로지도 프로그램의 적용이 진로성숙도와 자기효능감 향상에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.
연구결과에 비추어 볼 때 인문계고등학교 학생들의 진로선택과 직업에 대한 올바른 이해를 돕기 위한 진로성숙과 진로선택의 시도와 실제에 있어서 중요한 역할을 하는 자기효능감 증진을 위한 다양한 진로교육 프로그램의 실시가 중요할 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to apply the Career Education Program to high school students and to testify the effects on Career maturity and Self-efficacy. Counseling based on this study was expected to lead students to explore their own future career.
The subjects of this study were 300 first-grade students (150 experiment group, 150 control group) of Y high school located in Y city of Kyunggi-do. The Career Education Program was carried out to the experiment group 11 times in total, once or twice a week for 50 mins and lasted for 8 weeks. The control group was not exposed to any treatment.
In order to examine the effects of the program, pre-test and post-test included the Test of Career maturity by Korea Education Development Association(1992) and the Test of Self-efficacy by Jung-suk Kim(2001).
The results were as follows ; The experiment group showed a significant improvement in terms of Career maturity and Self-efficacy, compared with that in the control group. This implies that the Career Education Program has played a considerable role in improving Career maturity and Self-efficacy.
According to the results of this study, it seems to be important to apply various kinds of the Career Education Program for the improvement of Self-efficacy. They will play a leading role in attempting and practicing Career maturity and career selection which can be helpful for the high school students to perceive and explore their future career.
