기독교적인 삶과 실천을 제약하는 사회적 힘에 대한 기독교사회학적 분석

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze sociologically the following question: why do Christians find it hard to live by faith in the society? The reason is usually ascribed to such individualistic explanation as lack of faith or willingness, worldly temptation, and worry about life. But this study believes they fall far short of fully accounting for the question, and to answer it more properly an examination of its social aspect is needed. Sociological and Psychological theories are thus adopted for this study to ask what is the nature and role of society to individuals and why individuals hold a subordinate relationship with their society. The theoretical research leads this study to the second question: in what way Christians become more independent from the power of society. This study suggests a Biblical approach. It believes Biblical interpretation of society can give a way of answering the question. Last, several ways of being more susceptible to live by faith than to follow the world are suggested with sociological and religious point of view.
