성인남성의 음란물 집착, 강간통념 수용과 성폭력 가해의 관계 = Correlation among Pornography Obsession, Rape Myth Acceptance and Sexual Assault Perpetration in Male Adults

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 한국 성인 남성의 성폭력 가해 실태를 살펴보고, 음란물 집착이 강간통념 수용 및 성폭력 가해에 미치는 영향과 강간통념 수용의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연세대학교가 여성가족부의 위탁을 받아 수행한 ‘2010년 전국 성폭력 실태조사’ 자료를 사용하였으며, 만 19세 이상 성인 남성 617사례를 분석하였다. 실태 분석 결과, 한국 성인 남성의 평생 성폭력 가해율은 8.4%로 나타났으며, 성인 남성들이 일정 부분 성폭력에 대한 그릇된 통념을 수용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과, 한국 성인 남성의 음란물 집착은 성폭력 가해에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 한국 성인 남성의 음란물 집착과 성폭력 가해의 관계에서 강간통념 수용의 부분매개효과가 유의하였다. 한국 성인 남성들의 음란물에 대한 의존이나 일상생활의 방해가 높을수록 성폭력 가해 가능성이 높았으며, 그릇된 강간통념을 많이 수용하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 강간통념 수용도가 높을수록 성폭력 가해 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 한국 성인 남성의 성 또는 성폭력에 대한 인식을 개선하는 방안과 음란물이 강간통념 수용 및 성폭력 가해에 영향을 미치는 경로를 차단하는 프로그램 등 성폭력 가해를 예방하고 감소할 수 있는 정책과 개입방안을 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is designed to examine the influence of pornography addiction on rape myth acceptance and sexual assault perpetration and to verify the mediating effect of rape myth acceptance. The research analyzed the 617 result cases of South Korean male adults older than 19, from the data of the ‘National Sexual Violence Survey 2010’ that is carried out by Yonsei University entrusted from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. Lifetime sexual assault perpetration rate was 8.4% and the result indicated that male adults tend to accept rape myth to a certain extent. Pornography obsession of South Korean male adults is verified to have considerable positive influence on sexual assault perpetration. The result also proved that the partial mediating effect of the rape myth acceptance is significant between pornography obsession and sexual assault perpetration of South Korean male adults. The more dependent on pornography the male adults are or the higher the everyday life disturbance is, the higher the possibility of sexual assault perpetration and the more accepting of rape myth they are. The result also demonstrated that the more accepting of rape myth the subjects are, the higher their possibility of sexual assault perpetration is. Based on these findings, the researchers discuss on and suggest possible interventional schemes and policies such as a program to obstruct the route through which the pornography affects the rape myth acceptance and sexual assault, to prevent and control sexual assault perpetration and improve male adults attitude toward sex and sexual assault.
