고등학생의 우울 및 불안이 음주동기 및 흡연동기에 미치는 영향 = 걱정과 반추의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 우울 및 불안과 음주 및 흡연 동기의 관계에서 반추와 걱정의 매개효과를 탐색하는 것이다. 이와 같은 목적을 위해 서울 및 경기도 지역의 4개의 일반계 고등학교를 재학중인 남녀 고등학생 706명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. Cooper(1994)의 음주동기척도, Smith et al.(2010)의 흡연동기척도, Kovacs(1985)의 소아우울척도, Reynolds와 Richmond(1978)의 소아불안척도, Nolen-Hoeksema와 Morrow(1991)의 반추반응척도와 Meyer, Miller, Metzger and Borkovec(1990)의 걱정질문지를 시행하였다. 자료를 경로분석한 결과, 고등학생의 우울과 음주동기와의 관계에서 반추의 완전매개효과가 존재하였고, 불안과 음주동기와의 관계에서 반추의 완전매개효과가 나타났다. 또한 우울이 흡연동기에 직접적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 결과를 보였다. 반면, 불안과 음주동기 및 흡연동기와의 관계에서 걱정의 유의미한 매개효과는 존재하지 않았다. 따라서 고등학생의 음주 및 흡연문제와 정신건강 문제를 다룰시 반추와 함께 동기에 대한 인식 및 이해가 필요함을 시사한다. 본 연구의 제한점과 향후 연구방향, 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 한 예방적 개입과 정책에 대해 논의 되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the current study was to examine the mediating effect of rumination and worry in the relationship between depression, anxiety and drinking motivations, and smoking motivations among high school students. The subjects consisted of 706 students and they were asked to fill out the following questionnaires; The Drinking Motives Questionnaire?Revised, the Brief?Wisconsin Inventory of Smoking Dependence Motives, the Child Depression Inventory, the Revised Childrens Manifest Anxiety Scale, the Rumination Response Scale, and the Penn State Worry Questionnaire for Children. Firstly, s a result of path analysis, the full mediating effects of rumination in the relationship between depression and drinking motivations was found. Secondly, the full mediating effects of rumination in the relationship between anxiety and drinking motivations was also found. The implications and the limitations of the present study were also discussed and a number of directions for future studies were suggested.
