국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 최근 10년간 진행된 사회과 교실수업연구의 동향을 중심으로 한계와 가능성 모색을 통해 향후 연구 방향성 제공을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 1997년~2007년 시기에 발표된 국내 학술지 논문 73편, 박사학위논문 14편을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 전체적으로 수업방법 및 모형을 주제로 한 연구가 높은 비율을 차지한 반면, 수업인식을 주제로 한 연구는 낮은 비율을 보였다. 학교급(초등,중등)에 따른 연구 편중 현상은 나타나지 않았고 연구 패러다임에서는 과정-산출 연구가 높은 비율을 차지하고 있었다. 97-02년 시기에는 수업방법 및 모형, 과정-산출 연구의 편중 현상이 나타난 반면, 03-07년 시기에는 연구주제 및 연구 패러다임에 있어 다각화를 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 사회과 교실수업연구의 긍정적인 변화 방향에 해당된다. 그러나 여전히 연구 자체의 엄밀성 확보, 사회과 수업의 특성 규명에 있어서는 한계를 드러내고 있었다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 연구주제와 방법에 있어서의 다양성은 유지하면서, 교실수업연구 특징에 대한 고려와 사회과 교과의 특성을 규명하기 위한 연구자의 반성이 요구된다.

This study aims to analyze the trends of social studies classroom research during the last ten years and suggest orientation of research. For this purpose, I analyzed 73 articles and 14 doctor's dissertations. The results are as follows: In terms of research theme, teaching-learning method research was the highest percent and cognition of instruction research was the lowest percent. In terms of school grade, it wasn't unbalance of quantity. In terms of research paradigm, process-product research was higher percent than others. In 1997-2002, it made to much of teaching-learning method research and process-product research. But I found diversification of research theme and research paradigm in 2003-2007. This is positive change. In spite of that there were problems for solving. Articles were lack of confirming validity and clarifying specific character about social studies classroom research. For solving these problems, it is required that considering of specific character of classroom research and researcher's reflection for clarifying specific character of social studies. And research has to perform by various research theme and method.
