로버트 소몰과 사라 파이팅의 '투사적 건축'의 의미 및 의의에 관한 연구

Through critical reading on Notes around the Doppler Effect and Other Moods of Modernism by Robert E. Somol and Sarah Whiting, the study aims at elucidating the points of argument and theoretical basis to interpret the meaning and significance of Projective Architecture, since the article is representative of Post-critical movement in architecture. For this purpose the article is minutely analysed on several levels in terms of structure, content, historical significance of Projective, relation to (Modern) Project and Post Modernism. It is shown that in order to escape the internal logic of autonomy in architecture, Projective Architecture inherently include various levels of meaning from projection theory of 18 century to projections from outside influence and architecture's own projection to outside realm. Moreover, it is found that the role of professional architect becomes more important and expanded.
