다문화가족 청소년의 개인문화적 요인, 부모 및 가족요인과 진로성숙도와의 관계 = A Study of Adolescents` Personal-cultural, Parental and Family variables on Career Maturity in Multicultural Families

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study were to find the trends and correlation of adolescents’ personal-cultural variables. parental variables and family variable, and career maturity and to explore the influence of adolescents’ variables on career maturity. The subjects of the survey was 211 adolescents of multicultural family in the Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong and Jeolla areas. The data were analyzed with frequency, Pearson’s correlation and stepwise regression by SPSS. The major findings were as follows: first, cultural variables were rather high among other variables; studying stress was rather high among stress; respect for family is rather high among family strength; and understanding of self is rather high among career maturity. Second, adolescents’ career maturity had a significantly positive relation with self-esteem, cultural diversity, open communication, parents’ support and family strength. Third adolescents’ career maturity was influenced on open communication, self-esteem and family strength. Therefore this study made the necessary knowledge for helping adolescents in multicultural families achieve career maturity in Korean life in the future.
