The purpose of this study was to examine different advantage of self-controled feedback on high frequency and low frequency. The task was gate ball stroke and the subjects were sixty older adults(over 65 years old). Twenty persons were excepted on experimental design. There were four groups consisting of ten persons in each group. The four groups were high frequency self-controled group, high frequency yoked group, low frequency self-controled group and low frequency yoked group. Gate ball stroke scores (accuracy score) were recorded. For the acquisition phase, those scores were analyzed in a 4 (group) ×5(block) ANOVA with repeated measures on the last factor. Pre-test, retention test, and transfer test scores were analyzed in one way ANOVA. The results of this study that the high frequency and low frequency self-controled groups was more effective for improving the gate ball stroke score in the acquisition. In addition to high frequency self-controled group was more effective for improving the gate ball stroke score in the retention & transfer test than the other groups. In conclusion, the analysis of gate ball stroke scores showed that the advantage of high frequency self controled feedback is applied up to the older adults.
