This study aims to develop a new uniform design for O University’s promotional supporters by analyzing case studies of university uniforms from specialized colleges in the Gyeonggi region and conducting a design preference survey. The analysis of three university uniforms revealed that most adopted traditional suit configurations, incorporating school identity elements such as official colors and emblems, while some featured more active and trend-conscious styles. A survey conducted with current university students showed a high preference for designs that retain traditional and symbolic features while reflecting a modern, refined aesthetic. Based on these findings, this study proposes a uniform design under the concept of “Formal but Energetic,” which combines structured silhouettes with vibrant details to reflect both the dynamic role of supporters and the visual identity of the university. This study highlights the expanded function of supporter uniforms beyond mere attire and emphasizes their potential as strategic visual tools in university branding.
