Recently, many educators have been paid their efforts to reorganize and redevelop educational systems in the Graduate Schools of Education at universities. Some studies have reported that teachers in K-12 school systems have tried to develop their expertise in their fields. One way to do this is to enter regular educational programs and to earn an academic degree. This inclination also requires the graduate schools of education to restructure their systems and improve their education programs.
For these education needs, this study is to investigate some suggestions for restructuring teacher training systems in the Graduate School of Education at Sunchon National University.
The following five aspects for further improvement of educational programs are suggested: ① Humanization of teacher-training contents, ② Digitalization of educational systems, ③ Interrelationship of K-12 school systems and course-works of graduate programs, ④ Internationalization of educational programs, ⑤ Professionalization and specialization of educational fields.
