<Thought of Life, Eco-changeology and Anthropological Status>
With the advent of new paradigm as an alternative to overcome the depletion of natural resources of the Earth and the crisis of natural ecosystem derived from modern scientific development and the harmful effect of material affluence of industrial cultures, several arguments about environmental ethics, respect for life and Ecological philosophy have raised ultimate questions to retrospect the identity of human beings in the view of the relationship between human and nature.

This study has analyzed the trend from mechanical materialism to environmental ecological paradigm and the origin of thought of life from East and West, looking at thought of life and ecological philosophy in the trend of Eastern and Western philosophical ideas, especially I’ve found that Eastern traditional ideas let the history continue and they have respect for life and ecological reasoning from the ancient time, so, I’ve chosen Zhou-yi, which is one of the best scriptures in Eastern ideas and in order to study its ecological aspects, I’ve named its access methodology as “Eco-changeology”

‘Eco-changeology’ indicates universal thought of life and based on this, it is a theoretical way of thinking about aspect of change of nature world. That is to say, it contains the contents that it tries to understand natural ecological system with the flow of spontaneous order, and the combination of understanding of the life and the aspect of change in nature with the principle of “Yi” based on universal thought of life.

In view of “Zhou-yi” about eco-changeology, this study includes the arguments of Universal Penetration of Change, Heavenly way of truth, the Supreme Ultimate Yin and Yang, Tranquil Response, Exhausting the Principle and Extending the Human Nature, heaven and human unity, etc. On top of this, I set stage of Ecological Recognition, Ecological Image, Ecological Embodiment in general context , which are indicators with which human beings realize the world in ecological view, and the meantime, the way of ecological recognition is to recognize the reason about universal change based on yin yang change and its space and time, and the way of Ecological Image is about application and interpretation of a trigram from the Book of Changes, and the way of Ecological Embodiment is to handle this with human inner world.

This is about the matter of human ontological nature and axiological creed, and it is a concentration of realization. So, eco-changeology is recognition of human intrinsic aspect reflected on natural ecosystem in the stream of realization of spontaneous order and it is original realization about universal thought of life.

This is the process to find the alternative of revitalizing the Earth facing ecological crisis from the unity principle of heaven, earth and man which is included in Zhou-yi’s universal way of thinking.
Eco-changeology aims to find the way where human beings can live together with nature, so all creatures on Earth can co-exist and it will be discussed as a trend of eco-changeology reasoning system with remarkable development among world ecological arguments.

<生命思想, 生態易學觀과 人間學的 位相>
근대과학의 발달과 산업문명 물질풍요의 폐해가 안겨준 지구자원 고갈과 자연생태계의 위기를 극복하기 위한 대안으로 새로운 사상의 패러다임들이 등장하게 되면서, 거론되기 시작한 環境倫理學과 生命尊重思想 및 生態哲學의 논단들은 인간과 자연과의 관계성에 대해 인간 존재의 자기정체성을 돌아보게 하는 측면의 궁극적 문제를 제시하였다.
本稿에서는 동서양의 철학 사상사 흐름 속에서 생명사상과 생태철학의 주류를 살펴보는 가운데 근대과학 기계론적 사상에서 환경 생태적 패러다임으로 흐르기까지의 배경분석과 東西洋의 生命思想의 原流들을 살펴보고 특히, 동양의 전통 사상들이 역사의 맥을 이어오며 생명존중과 생태주의 사유를 古來로부터 함의하고 있는 부분들을 발견, 동양 사상 중에서 최대의 경전의 하나로 일컫는『周易』을 중심으로 하여 생태학적인 부분을 고찰해 보고자 접근의 방법론을 ‘生態易學’이라고 명명하였다.
‘생태역학’은 宇宙의 생명정신과 이것에 입각한 자연계의 변화양상에 관한 이론적 사유방식을 가리킨다. 즉, 자연생태계를 자생적 질서의 끊임없는 순환의 흐름으로 파악하고 그 속에서 고양되는 생명의식의 화합적 차원과 宇宙의 생명정신에 입각한 자연계의 변화양상을 易의 원리로 이해하려는 내용을 지닌다.
본고에서는 生態易學에 관한 『주역』의 논점으로 우주변통(宇宙變通), 천도진리(天道眞理), 태극음양(太極陰陽), 적연감통(寂然感通), 궁리진성(窮理盡性), 천인합일(天人合一) 등이 있다. 여기에 인간이 세계를 생태관점으로 구현하는 일련의 지표 즉, 생태인식, 생태표상 및 생태체현의 단계를 개괄적 맥락으로 설정하고 전개해 가는 가운데, 생태인식의 방식은 陰陽 변화를 기본으로 하는 宇宙 변화와 그 시공간적 이치에 대한 인식이고, 생태표상의 방식은 卦象에 함의되어 있는 義理的 해석 적용의 방법이며, 생태체현의 방식은 이를 인간 내면세계의 倫理意識으로 다루는 방법이다.
이것은 인간의 존재론적 본질과 가치론적 강령의 문제로서 일련의 인간 내면세계의 전일론적(全一論的) 구현과정이 된다. 그러므로 生態易學은 자생적 질서의 흐름 속에 변화하는 자연생태계에 투영된 인간 삶의 본질적 측면에 대한 인식이자 宇宙 생명정신에 대한 원천적인 깨달음이라 할 수 있겠다.
이는 작금에 위치한 전 지구적 생태위기에 따른 지구회생의 길을 모색하는 대안을 『周易』의 우주론적 사유방식 속에 함유하고 있는 천지인의 합일원리에서 찾아내는 과정이 된다고 할 수 있겠다. 生態易學은 인간과 자연이 함께 어우러져 지구 온 생명이 함께 공존할 수 있는 상생의 방식을 지향하는 가운데 세계 生態主義 담론 속에 또 하나의 담론으로 혁혁(赫赫)한 발전을 이루는 가운데 생태역학적 사유체계의 사조로 거론될 것이다.
