This paper shows that the Most Recent Dream Method and the Hall/Van de Castle System of dream content can be apply to Korean college students. Inter-rater reliability of the Hall/Van de Castle System for the Most Recent Dream Method is proved to be acceptable. A quantitative content analysis of most recent dreams from 233 Korean college students reveals that Korean college students' dreams show higher proportion in Familiar Character Percent, Victim Percent and Failure Percent than American college students' dreams. The same general patterns of gender similarities and differences except Male/female Percent are found in the normative data of Korean college students and American college students. Male students' dreams show higher proportion in Group Percent, sexual Interaction Percent. Befriender Percent, Outdoor Settings Percent and Misfortune Percent than female students' dreams. Suggestions for further extended studies of dream content analysis from various age, culture, and psychopathology groups are also discussed.
