디지털 카메라를 활용한 유아 사진 교육이 이미지 리터러시 능력 향상에 미치는 영향 = A Study on the Effect Early Childhood Photography Education to the Ability of Image Literacy Using Digital Camera

Our information-oriented society is giving prominence to ``Literacy``, the ability to select and understand what one needs among the overflowing information and culture. The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of cameras as a tool to enhance the ability of ``Image Literacy``. Therefore this paper sounds the necessity and the potentiality of teaching ``Image Literacy`` through pre-study, then verifies the effectiveness of the teaching process with the results of the programs progressed which are adequate to children. The ``Image Literacy`` would become a very important virtue for children who would live in the diversified multi-media environment and the teaching programs using cameras would do a great role to build up the ability.
