조직 개발의 학문적 계보 : 쿠르트 레빈과 오스카 밍크를 중심으로 = A Study on the Academic Genealogy of Organization Development: Focusing on Kurt Lewin and Oscar Mink

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 쿠르트 레빈에서 오스카 밍크로 이어지는 조직 개발의 연결 고리를 찾아 쿠르트 레빈의 국내 사승관계인 학문적 계보를 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 쿠르트 레빈과 오스카 밍크의 학문적 연결고리인 사승관계인 학문적 계보와 학문적 연결고리 사이에 있는 주요 학자를 확인하였다.
로날드 리핏의 아이오아대학교의 석사 및 박사학위 지도교수는 쿠르트 레빈이었다. 로날드 리핏은 리랜드 브래드포드와 케네스 베네와 함께 전미교육훈련연구소(NTL)를 만들었다. 고든 리핏은 각각 쿠르트 레빈과 오스카 밍크와 함께 일을 하였다. 고든 리핏은 초기 전미교육훈련연구소(NTL)의 디렉터였던 리랜드 브래드포드 밑에서 부디렉터로 근무하면서 친형인 로날드 리핏을 포함한 케네스 베네 등의 다양한 학자들과 함께 일했다. 오스카 밍크는 전미교육훈련여구소(NTL)에서 박사 후 인턴십을 수행하면서 로날드 리핏과 고든 리핏에게 직접적인 영향을 받았고, 고든 리핏과 함께 일을 했다.
본 연구는 쿠르트 레빈과 오스카 밍크의 학문적 연결고리인 사승관계인 학문적 계보와 학문적 연결고리 사이에 있는 주요 학자의 정리를 통해 쿠르트 레빈을 중심으로 한 조직 개발의 사승관계인 학문적 계보에 관하여 연구한 논문으로 쿠르트 레빈의 조직 개발 사승관계인 학문적 계보를 파악하기 위한 연구로서 의의를 지닌다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the link in organization development from Kurt Lewin to Oscar Mink and to present Kurt Lewin’s academic genealogy within South Korea. This study identified the academic link connecting Kurt Lewin and Oscar Mink, as well as key scholars situated between these academic connections.
Roanld Lippitt’s master’s and doctoral advisors at the University Iowa were Kurt Lewin. Ronald Lippitt co-founded the National Training Laboratories(NTL) with Leland Bradford and Kenneth Benne. Gordon Lippitt worked with both Kurt Lewin and Oscar Mink. Gordon Lippitt worked as Deputy Director under Leland Bradford, the Director of the National Training Laboratories(NTL), and collaborated with various scholars, including his older brother Roanld Lippitt and Kenetth Benne. Oscar Mink completed a postdoctoral internship at the National Training Laboratories(NTL), where he was directly influenced by Roanld Lippitt and Gordon Lippitt and worked alongside Gordon Lippitt.
This study examines the academic genealogy of organization development centered on Kurt Lewin through the academic connections between Kurt Lewin and Oscar Mink and the summaries of key scholars between those connections. It is significant as a study to understand the academic genealogy of Kurt Lewin’s organization development.
