The object of this study was first, there's no consensus about the factors that affect the decision process in post-purchase. Second, the negligence of the affect of corporate image that influences on decision making process after purchase. The objective of this study is to investigate the moderation role of the corporate image and satisfaction on consumer decision process.
Hypothesis are developed drawing upon prior research concerned with balance theory, cognitive dissonance, Fishbein's concerned with balance theory, EKB model about the product evaluation in post-purchase.
The results of this study are as follow:
First, in the high involvement product, satisfaction influences on the consumers' corporate image and the consumer's evaluation of another product in the same corporate. However in the low involvement product, satisfaction has no effect on them.
Second, corporate images that were formed after the purchase differently influence the evaluation of another product in the same corporate depending on involvement. In the high involvement product, the corporate image positively influences the product evaluation
Third, corporate images that constituted after the purchase have an effect on the same corporate product purchase intention and they are more significant when prepurchase product is the high involvement's product. Also, in the purchase extension toward the another product in the same corporate, corporate images have more affect on purchase intention than product image's affect.
Directions for future research and limitation are discussed and outlined, the limitation include ① a lack of the systematic analysis about the measurement of the product evaluation ② failure to treat individual consumption behavior.
The contributions should be included to improve ① the importance of consumer's management with experience ② the importance of corporate image ③ the interaction effect between the degree of satisfaction and the corporate image that build up after the purchase.
