Objective : The purpose of this study is to analyze health promotion behavior in school teachers and analyze correlation among self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, and perceived hinderance, which influence teacher's health promotion behavior. Method : This survey was carried out from August 29 to September 7 2011. The instruments used for this study were Health Promotion Behavior, Health Self Efficacy scale, perceived usefulness, and perceived hinderance scale. We contacted 64 school teachers in Gyeongsangbuk-Do. The participating teachers were asked to fill in a self-administered questionnaire. Results : The means of health promotion behavior was 2.93 in the maxium of 4 points. For sub-areas of health promotion behavior, teachers indicated nutrition, self-realization, interpersonal relationship, health responsibility, stress care, and exercise in order. Health promotion behavior showed a positive correlation with health promotion self-efficacy(r=.319, p=0.01), perceived usefulness(r=.427, p=0.01). Health promotion behavior showed a negative correlation with perceived hinderance(r=-.311, p=0.01). Conclusions : Therefore, the result of study can usefully be used as foundation-materials of programe-development for school teacher's health promotion behavior program.
