This research investigated children`s disease and health concepts. According to the results, firstly, children understood diseases based on what they have experienced. As causes of diseases, they selected `no answer and non-related answer`, `non-obedience for authority`, `intake of inappropriate foods`, `invasion of pathogen`, `inappropriate cleanness status`, or `inappropriate insulation and environment`, as answers. Secondly, as cures for diseases, `medical cure`, `obedience to authority`, `maintenance of cleanness`, `appropriate rest`, `intake of foods`, or `good living habits`, were selected as answerers. Thirdly, as prevention methods of diseases, they selected `medical cure`, `cleanness`, `intake of foods`, or `living habits`, Fourthly, children replied that `I`m healthy`, and defined healthy people as in the following order: `people with physically healthy`, `people obeying the authority`, `people with good food intake`, `people taking good medical treatments`, `clean people`, `people with good disease prevention activities`, `people with physical activities`. These research results can be effectively used as basic data for children`s health and disease prevention education.
