아파트주방의 형태특성에 관한 연구 = (A) study on the Form of character in the Kitchen for Apartment

In Korea, the high-rise apartment was very successful in that it provides the great convenience in quantity and quality. Also, it actually became the most general housing form in Korea because of its functional and economic efficiency.
The lifestyle in Korea has been much changed with time as the nuclear family and the couple working together for a living prevail against the traditional and extended family. According to this moderner's needs for some simpler and easier pattern of life, the modern housing has changed to the stand-up character especially in the systematized kitchen.
The cookroom is particularly important for residents in the respect of providing them the reasonable and efficient space, and it is regarded as the public place where they can spent time at leisure and rest.
Therefore this research has the purpose to originate a more convenient kitchen room through surveying and analyzing the form of the character in the cookery for apartment.
The bounds of this thesis is presented as a tentative plan after exploring the fields of construction work in Mapo-gu(World Median, Wooseong, Samsung, Hyendae, Taeyoung, e-Pyeonhansesang, LG Jai) and Yongsan-gu(Daelim, Dongyang, Samsung liberville, Sindonga, GS cheongamjai) of Seoul where are very activated to build apartments lately.
