미용체형 성형수술 지원자들의 행동특성 및 심리적 특성에관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대인들의 여성이 사회진출이 높아지고 지위가 향상되면서 자신의 외모도 경쟁력으로 인식되는 사회에서 보다 미에 대한 관심이 높아지고 누구나 젊고 아름다운 체형을 갖고 싶어 한다. 본 연구는 미용성형을 받고자 하는 여성들이 늘고 많아지고 있는 추세에서 미용체형을 위해 성형수술을 받으러 온 여성들을 대상으로 그들의 행동특성과 심리적 특성을 조사하여 일반 여성과 비교해 보았다. 본 연구의 조사대상들 중 성형수술 지원자들은 76명이었고, 일반여성대상자들은 171명이었다. 4주간 설문지 형태로 진행하였으며. 체형관리행동, 건강증진행위, 연령지각 척도, 자기의식정도, 특정적 기분수준으로 총 5가지 항목으로 비교연구를 하였다. 미용성형을 하러 오는 지원들은 식이요법이나 약물요법 행동수정요법 수술요법 마사지요법등 모든 체형관리행동에서 일반대상자들보다 더 많이 시도한 것으로 나타났다. 미용성형을 결정하는 요인을 비교분석 결과 개인적인 자기의식의 정도가 높은 여성, 주관적인 연령지각의 생활연령보다 큰 여성, 자신의 기분변화의 정도가 큰 여성이 미용수술을 하려고 할 가능성이 높다는 결론이 나왔다. 미용성형을 받기 위해 결심하는 사람들의 특성 잘 이해하는 것은 성형수술 희망자의 수술 후 만족도에 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 상담자의 입장에서 내담자를 효과적으로 관리하는데 도움을 줄 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In a modern society, women have been increasingly involved in the workplace, and their status has been improved. In addition, good appearance has been recognized as a source of power in the society. Thus, women are more interested in the beauty, and many of them want to have young and beautiful body shape. In a trend that increasing number of women want to receive plastic surgery in desire for the beauty, the study focuses on comparison of behavioral and psychological characteristics of women who come to receive plastic surgery for beautiful body shape and other women. Among research subjects in this study, the number of applicants for plastic surgery is seventy-six, and general women subjects are numbered up to 171. It was done with surveys for four weeks, and by comparative study which classified five items, behavior in managing body shape and in enhancing health, criteria of recognizing ages, the level of eating amount and specific emotions. As a result from comparative analysis, It is approved that Aesthetic surgery applicants take more behavior in managing body shape(dietary therapy, drug therapy, behavior therapy, surgical therapy, massage therapy). there are high possibilities in taking a plastic surgery for women who subjectively aware her age higher than actual age and who have undulating emotions. Understanding characteristics of people hoping to receive plastic surgery for the beauty not only affects patients' satisfaction after taking a surgery, but also helps doctors to effectively manage patients in the view points of counselor.
