In this article, I shall discuss the ways which renew the church and make church members spiritual in the age of 21st century secularization. I shall attempt to suggest the ways how to restore the spirituality. In this article, I shall suggest the methods church and church members restore the spirituality through Christian education. In order to accomplish the objectives of this article, the contemporary situations and the characteristics of modern church will be discussed. 1980s as 386 generation, 1990s as X generation. early 2000s as N generation, and nowadays is called as IP generation. I shall try to analyze the characteristics of modern IP generation, seek the meanings of the secularization and the characteristics of 21st church as well. And to determine the concept of spirituality, the spiritual theologians` concepts of spirituality such as F. Schaeffer, St. Augustine, George Ganss, Richard O`Brien, Don E. Saliers, Philip Sheldrake, William Stringfellow, and Richard Woods, shall be perused, and the origin of modern spirituality will be discussed based on the chronicle study. In the last chapter, I shall discuss how Christian education functions to develop the Christian spirituality. Particularly, this article presupposes the spiritual maturity as the objective of Christian education in discussing the relationship between the purpose of Christian education and the Christian maturity. Finally, I shall suggest the ways to develop the Christian spirituality through Christian education.
