경제교육과 진로지도 : 제7차 교육과정의 8,9학년 실과(기술.가정) 교과서 분석을 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The characteristics and contents of Technology ‧ Home economics in the 7th National Curriculum are closely related with the comprehension of job world and a searching for a job. Meanwhile, The Contents of Economic Education are distributed in several subject matters - Social studies, Technology ‧ Home economics, Moral education. In Technology ‧ Home economics, the skill related with economic life is mainly treated.
Therefore, students can learn the thought and behaviour pattern related with economic life through Technology ‧ Home economics Textbooks, which influence understanding of the work world and the choice of an occupation.
This paper aims to analyze the contents of career education in the 8~9th grade Technology ‧ Home economics Textbooks based on the 7th National Curriculum and to examine contents of economic education which are related to the analysis. Finally, this paper suggests a course of economic education for career guidance.
As a result, the contents of career education in the 8~9th grade Technology ‧ Home economics Textbooks are mainly constituted 'self-understanding', 'comprehension of jobs and business', and 'occupation and learning'. Also, illustrations are more frequently treated than reading materials and inquiry activities.
However, 'self-understanding' and 'comprehension of jobs and business' are simply introduced by an aptitude test and a list of jobs and industries.
The economic education in Technology ‧ Home economics lay emphasis on the social responsibility of corporations and business ethics rather than the role of the enterprise. Moreover, entrepreneurship is not mentioned at all. In the modern society, business world is changing rapidly and jobs are not fixed. Career Guidance, which matches students to the job, is out of date.
As the economic education for career guidance, we need to present entrepreneurship to students to be challengeable and adventurous for creating new jobs. Also, an active participation of enterprises is demanded.
