발달장애 아동의 학령기이후 교육참여에 관한 학부모심층면담 = In-Depth Interview with Parents on Participation in Transition Education after School-Age for the Students with Developmental Disability

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was designed to find the motivation for participation, limiting factors, facilitating factors in education for the students with developmental disability after the school-age who are being required to get education continuosly in the knowledge-based society. Also, it was set out to find the ways to revitalize the education for them. For this, six parents in the education for the developmentally disabled and an in-depth interview was conducted. The results from the study are as follows.
First, the motivation for participation in lifelong learning for the students with developmental disability included the characteristics of the learners, guarantee of educational opportunities, a strong sense of belongling and diploma acquisition.
Second, the limiting factors for participation in lifelong learning for the students with developmental disability included the issue of accessibility to the educational institutions, the characteristics of the learners, the issue of educational policy by the government and the lack of understanding for the characteristics of disability.
Third, the facilitating factors for participation in lifelong learning for the students with developmental disability included the government;s budget and policy supports, integrated education-environment, for parent to claim children's educational rights and the program development and management.
Fourth, the ways to revitalize lifelong learning for the students with developmental disability included the program development and operation, commissioned education ate the religious facilities, the lifelong learning for special educational facilities and active efforts by the government.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 오늘날 같은 평생학습시대에 살고 있는 학령기 이후의 발달장애 성인학습자의 평생교육의 활성화를 위한 평생교육 참여동기, 평생교육 저해요인, 평생교육 촉진요인, 평생학습교육활성화 방안에 대해서 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 학령기 이후의 발달장애 성인학습자의 학부모를 6명을 선정하여 심층면담을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 발달장애 성인학습자의 평생학습 참여동기는 학습자의 특성, 소속감획득, 시간활용, 졸업장 취득, 독립생활 등이다.
둘째, 발달장애 성인학습자의 평생학습 저해요인은 발달장애 성인학습자의 학습자의 특성, 교육기관과 시설의 부족, 국가의 정책과 지원부족 등이다.
셋째, 발달장애 성인학습자의 평생학습 촉진요인은 정부의 교육비용 지원 고등교육의 의무화, 부모들의 적극적인 교육권 주장, 통합환경구축 등이다.
넷째, 발달장애 성인학습자의 평생교육 활성화방안은 특수교육기관의 평생교육화, 정부의 적극적인 의지, 고등교육의 평생교육화, 통합교육의 조성, 직업교육강화 등이다.
