일본 언론매체의 손기정 마라톤 우승 보도에 나타난 민족주의 = Nationalism shown in Japanese News Media on Sohn Ki-chung`s Marathon Championship

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is to give to careful consideration to the matter reported on all sorts of newspaper, magazine, report and contribution which were issued in Japan, right after Sohn Ki-chung`s victory in the Olympic Games in Berlin. In contrast with Joseon, there is no nationalism of Joseon in the media of Japan. The main reasons are; First, Sohn Ki-chung was representing Japan, giving an honor as a marathon winner to Japanese. Second, colonial rule on the Korea peninsula was done based on assimilation policy through culture. Not to admit hypocritical policy such as assimilationism, media in Japan didn`t report on national discrimination and derogation in public. Therefore, they couldn`t reveal discrimination against Joseon on the surface. This research has been done by the perception that a view of the history can have a different interpretation in accordance with a view of nationalism. It is expected to be developed into multi-dimensional research on Sohn Ki-chung before and after The Olympic, as a man.
