― Focusing on the orientation of buildings

There have been a lot of efforts to adapt climate change around the world, and Korea is no exception. The low carbon green cities for overseas have had many different forms through their own special models and strategies. Korea needs a model and strategy of Korean low carbon green city, which is suitable for Korea climate and topography. This study pays attention to the Pungsu, which is Korean traditional thinking system for space, and examines the way for selecting locations and space planning to create the Korean low carbon green city through the contemporary interpretation of the Pungsu. For this purpose, first of all, this study makes efforts for the contemporary interpretation of the past Pungsu theory from the modern city``s perspective, through understanding the difference between the Korea``s historic villages(cities) and the modern cities. Based on the contemporary interpretation of the Pungsu theory, this study finds ways of application the system on selecting locations and space planning in the Pungsu theory to create the Korean low carbon green city.The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between Lee Gi-pung-soo and Yang Taek in order to analyze the auspiciousness of the theory of feng shui left through a study on the left-hand side of feng shui theory. Feng Shui is believed to have started feng shui by gathering wisdom to preserve and protect the lives of families and communities by adapting to the nature of choosing a safe area by avoiding cold places, such as raising livestock and farming in the south where sunlight is good.It is the highest feng shui scripture that summarizes the dragon, blood, history, water, and fragrance of Girigyeol in the old feng shui classics, and the method of finding the activation of dragons in incense and analyzing gains and threads was re-examined.Yangtagsamyo is also a beneficial part of humans who recognize the method of conducting research on the defense of their homes to nature and guide them to live a safe and prosperous life. In particular, houses and buildings should be located at the end of the mountain ridge with Jusan Mountain behind them, while the shrine and incense should be placed in the center of the house or building. Also, we need to make a good judgment on the nine causes. I think it is desirable to take a more progressive and safer form than traditional feng shui by combining these contents with modern feng shui. Even with the changing times, the selfish feng shui still lacks research and analysis, and many people still ignore it and oppose its application.In our country, we can see countless places where buildings in many cities are suffering from bankruptcy due to the building. I want to believe that it is wrong because the wrong building was constructed based on the shape of the land rather than the shape of the terrain. Building a building takes several billion won, but it is often ignored as a necessary way to apply only a few feng shui or get help from feng shui temple.If a building goes bankrupt, it can cause great social and local economy, and people who live there and people who live there personally, and all suffer. Although it is now safe and can be built according to the changes of the times, it is desirable to keep the hemolysisasuhyang, which is the basis of feng shui, and to build a shrine based on the shape of the land.
