칸트 윤리학의 형식주의와 엄숙주의에 대한 비판과 대안에 대한 고찰 = A Study on Criticisms and Alternatives of the Formalism and Rigorism in Kantian Ethics

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Kantian ethics shows a finishing form of deontology in modern ethics, but is faced with various criticisms. One of the criticisms is that categorical imperative cannot suggest concrete moral guidelines for practice though Kantian ethics gives us categorical imperative as a tool for verifying morality. Another criticism is that Kantian ethics cannot admit actual change of duty according to situational condition because of rigorism of Kantian ethics. This study is going to examine the first alternative of material value ethics in relation to first criticism and review its validity, then this study will examine the alternative of Ross in relation to second criticism and review its validity.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

칸트의 도덕 철학은 근대 윤리학에 있어서 의무론의 완성적 형태를 보여주지만, 다양한 비판에 직면하고 있다. 그 비판 중 하나는 비록 칸트 도덕 철학이 도덕성 검증을 위한 도구로서 정언명령을 제시함에도 불구하고 정언명령은 도덕적 실천을 위한 구체적인 도덕적 생활 지침을 제시해 주지 못한다는 것이다. 또 다른 비판은 칸트 윤리학이 융통성이 부족하여 상황과 조건에 따라 의무가 변할 수 있음을 인정할 수 없다는 것이다. 이 논고에서는 첫 번째 비판에 대하여 실질적 가치라는 대안을 검토해보고 그 타당성을 살펴볼 것이다. 다음으로 이 연구는앞의 두 번째 비판과 관련하여 ‘로스(William David Ross)’의 대안을 검토해보고 그 타당성을 점검해보고자 한다.
