외국인 유학생 대학생활 적응 지원을 위한 상담 기반 페르소나 개발 연구|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 외국인 유학생의 상담 접근성 향상과 문화적 적응 지원을 위한 실질적 방안 도출을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 D대학교 외국인 유학생 570명 대상 설문조사와 전문 상담사 3인과의 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 외국인 유학생은 교수 및 선배와의 상담 및 교류에 대한 요구가 가장 높았으며, 학과 상담 서비스 만족도는 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 전문 상담사들은 인종 관련 미세공격과 문화적 편견이 심리적 스트레스의 주요 요인이며, 온 라인 상담에서는 탈억제 효과로 인한 익명성의 부정적 측면과 작업동맹 형성의 어려움이 주요 한계임을 지적하였 다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 상담 접근 장벽형, 언어·문화 장벽형, 진로·멘토링 지향형, 심리·정서 취약형, 디지털 친 화형의 5가지 페르소나를 도출하고, 각 유형별 특성에 따른 차별화된 지원 전략을 개발하였다. 구체적으로 외국인 유학생 대학생활 적응을 위한 익명 기반 초기 상담 체계, 다국어 상담 인력 확충 및 문화 감수성 교육, 멘토링-취 업-산업체 연계 진로지원 체계, AI 기반 정서 감지 및 긴급 알림 시스템, 메타버스 상담 플랫폼 활용을 제안하였 다. 본 연구는 페르소나 기반의 맞춤형 상담 지원 전략을 제시한 연구로, 대학의 외국인 유학생 관리 체계 고도화 와 국제화 전략 실행에 실질적 지침을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

This study proposes practical strategies to enhance counseling accessibility and cultural adaptation support for international students. A survey of 570 international students and in-depth interviews with three professional counselors were conducted. The findings revealed high demand for counseling and faculty–peer interaction, as well as psychological distress caused by racial microaggressions and cultural prejudice. Based on these results, five persona types were identified, and differentiated support strategies—such as anonymous counseling, multilingual services, AI-based emotion detection, and metaverse counseling platforms—were developed, offering practical implications for persona-based customized counseling and university internationalization strategies.
