아동용 정서조절 척도 개발 = Development of Emotion Regulation Scale for Children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 아동기 공격성, 우울 등의 부적응적 행동을 설명할 수 있는 주요한 심리적인 원인으로서 정서조절의 정도를 객관적으로 측정하는 아동용 정서조절 척도를 개발하고, 그 신뢰도와 타당도를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 관련 선행연구를 참고하고 초등학생 대상의 개방 질문지와 면접 자료를 바탕으로 예비문항을 작성하였다. 전문가 집단의 평정을 통한 내용타당도 확립과 문항분석을 거친 후 선정된 69 예비문항을 초등학교 4~6학년 515명에게 실시하여 요인구조를 확인하였다. 그 결과 3요인(인지적 수준, 행동적 수준, 체험적 수준) 18문항의 척도를 개발하였다. 척도 전체 Cronbach α는 .89로 양호하였으며, 3개의 하위요인 및 전체 척도와 여러 타당도 지표간의 상관분석을 실시한 결과, 모든 요인의 수렴 및 변별 타당도가 확립되었다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구 과제에 대해서 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to develop an Emotional Regulation Scale for Children in order to measure the degree of emotional regulation which is deemed to be related to main psychological causes of maladjustment behaviour(childhood's depression, aggression, etc.) and to verify the validity and reliability of the scale. Preliminary items were developed based on the review of related literature, an open questionnaire and interview with the target group children. 69 items were chosen after going through the content validity confirmation and item analysis. This preliminary scale was administered to a sample of 515 upper grade(4th~6th grade) level elementary school students and the factor structure was examined. Through this analysis, the scale consisting of 18 items and three factors(cognitive, behavioral experiential level) was developed. The results suggested that this scale was relatively reliable in terms of internal consistency(α = .89). Relationships between this scale and conceptually related variables were examined to support for the estimates of convergent-discriminant validity and results were positive as expected. This study ends with implications, limitations, and suggestions for future studies.
