유아기자녀를 둔 부모의 자녀양육관에 대한 소고 = A Study on the Child-Rearing Values of Parents in Taking Care of Their Young Children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아기 자녀들을 둔 부모의 자녀양육관을 알아보기 위하여 문헌연구를 하였다. 이를 위해 유아기 자녀의 부모를 대상으로 부모됨, 자녀양육관 등의 주제를 중심으로 현재까지 연구된 선행연구 자료를 고찰하여 분석하였으며, 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 부모됨 인식은 부모 됨을 ‘가치 있는 일’로 인식하고 있었으나, 그 중요성에 대해서는 조금씩 감소하고 있는 경향이었다.
둘째, 부모의 자녀양육관과 관련된 부모역할에서 부모의 양육효능감은 보통수준이며, 양육스트레스는 낮은 수준이었다. 또한 부모양육태도는 부모 모두 민주적 양육태도가 가장 높았으며 다음으로 권위주의적, 허용적, 무관심적 양육태도 순으로 나타났다. 부모양육 참여의 실제는 어머니의 양육참여가 절대적으로 높게 나타났다.
본 연구는 문헌연구를 통해 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 자녀양육관을 총체적으로 규명했다는데 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구결과를 통해 부모의 자녀양육관의 정립을 위한 역량강화 프로그램 개발 방안도 구체적으로 모색할 수 있을 것이다.

This research was focused to analyze the child-rearing values of parents in taking care of their young children through literature reviews. For this purpose, the major studies have been conducted on the subjects of the parents’ qualification in taking care of their infants and child-rearing values of the parents, etc.
Through the research, several important results were obtained as follows.
First, parental awareness on the importance of parents in taking care of their infants was perceived as 'worthiness', but the concept tended to gradually decrease. Second, the level of parenting efficacy and parents’ role in rearing their children were ranged in normal score, but the parents felt almost no-stress for rearing their young children. In addition, the democratic style of parenting attitudes for rearing their children gave the highest score, and the authoritarian, allowable, and indifferent-parenting style were followed next. In reality, participation of mother in child-caring gave an absolutely high score in parenting their young children.
This study is meaningful in that the results can be applied to develop the capability-enhancing program for the parents to establish their child-rearing.
