성인원격대학의 진로개발 지원모형 구축 = A Modeling Career Development Services for Adult Learner in Distance Education University

The purpose of this study was to examine and suggest the model to career development services specialized for adult learner in distance education university. For these purposes, the survey asked to 615 adult learner in distance education university about their needs. And current career services of universities which in the inside and outside of the country were analyzed. From the result, recommendations were proposed to Career Development Center specialized for adult learner in distance education university. Assessment and program team, career information and library team, career networking team, and R & D team were suggested to the organization of Career Development Center. Recommendations and implications for service contents and strategies of Career Development Center are discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 성인 원격대학의 성인학습자들에게 필요한 진로개발 지원모형(Career Development Services Model)을 개발하여 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 K원격대학의 학생 615명을 대상으로 진로지도 서비스에 대한 인식 및 요구 조사를 실시하였고 국내외 대학에서 실시되고 있는 대표적인 진로지도 서비스의 사례를 분석하여 진로개발 지원모형 개발에의 시사점을 도출하였다. 이에 진로 전문가들의 자문을 받아 최종적으로 진로개발 지원모형을 구축하였는데, 본 모형에서는 진로지도 서비스를 진로진단 및 프로그램, 진로정보, 진로네트워크, 연구 및 기술 영역 4개로 나누고 하위 내용을 각각 구성하였으며, 각 하위내용의 세부사항을 구성함에 있어 성인원격대학 학습자들의 특성을 반영할 수 있도록 하였다. 구체적으로는 자기이해를 촉진하기 위한 진단, 각종 프로그램, 상담, 교과목접근, 효과적인 진로정보 교류 및 활용접근, 네트워크를 통한 진로모델링과 상호작용 촉진 접근, 온라인과 오프라인 진로서비스 개발, 평가, 운영 및 평가 접근들이 원격대학 진로개발 지원모형의 필수적인 요인으로 구성되었으며, 이러한 서비스는 온라인과 오프라인의 통합 접근 및 중앙과 지역대학이 상호 연계되는 방식으로 지원되어야 함이 제기되었다.
