      최근 미국을 비롯한 선진국은 AI를 인명피해 최소화 및 전투능력을 극대화하는 등 국가 간 전력 불균형을 상쇄시킬 수 있는 핵심적인 수단으로 인식하고, 국방 분야에 신속하고 효율적으로 적용하기 위한 다양한 혁신정책을 추진 중임.
      이에 따라, 해외 주요국의 국방 AI 관련 획득체계 관련 우수사례 분석과 우리 군의 현황 진단을 바탕으로 AI의 효율적 적용과 활용을 위해 획득체계 전반에 대한 발전방안을 도출하고자 했음.
      특히 본 연구는 정보화체계를 중심으로 AI 소프트웨어를 적용하는 개발사업 프로세스의 신설을 개선을 중심으로 추진되었음.
      또한, 연구 기간 중 연구 주제와 관련된 업무를 수행하는 군·산·학·연의 전문가 그룹을 대상으로 2회의 토론회를 개최하여 연구용역 방향 및 내용을 점검/보완하는 기회를 마련하였음.
