문화예술교육을 위한 예술 치유 시범사업 평가 및 발전방안 = The Evaluation of Cultural Arts Healing Project for Cultural Arts Education and its Development Plan

국문 초록 (Abstract)

  본 연구는 문화예술교육 사업의 일환으로 예술의 치유적 특성을 중심으로 예술 치유 사업을 시범적으로 시행하고 그 의미와 성취도 그리고 효과에 대하여 평가하는 데에 목적으로 두었다. 예술 치유사업은 사회적 또는 경제적인 여건으로 인해 문화예술을 쉽게 경험할 수 없는 소외계층 집단을 우선적으로 선정하여 2005년 3월부터 12월까지 다양한 예술 치유 사업을 실시하였다. 참여 대상은 아동, 청소년, 성인, 노인집단으로 총 14개의 집단에 130명이 참여하였으며, 구체적으로 소년원 보호 청소년, 결혼여성 이민자, 독거노인, 탈 성매매 여성(결혼여성 이민자)들이 포함되었다. 문화예술 치유 프로그램은 음악, 미술, 무용, 연극 중심의 활동으로 구성되어 있으며 평가를 위해서는 프로그램의 진행자, 참여자, 기관 담당자를 위한 설문지를 개발하여 실시하였다. 설문지는 예술 치유 사업에 대한 양적 및 질적 평가에 대한 데이터를 수집하였으며 이는 예술교육의 다양한 의미와 기능에 대한 자료를 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 예술 치유 프로그램은 예술 매체가 지닌 치유적 특성을 중심으로 개인의 심리적, 사회적 정서적 건강을 도모하였으며 더 나아가 예술을 통한 치유의 가능성과 필요성을 재인식하고 개선과 발전방안을 제시하는 계기를 마련하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

  The purpose of this study was to evaluate the achievement of cultural arts education project which was facilitated to experience arts" healing essence in its education. Cultural arts healing project was purported to provide positive and healing experience to those who are not exposed to cultural activities due to social or economical conditions. A total of 130 people participate in the project including children, adolescents, adults and elderly people. There were 14 groups including group homes, internationally married women, abandoned elders, ex-prostitutes, immigrants, etc. Cultural arts healing project involves various music, art, dance, and play activities. For its evaluation, different surveys were developed for participants, educators, and directors. The surveys were used to collect both quantitative and qualitative data regarding the achievement of project and essential information on the meaning and role of arts education. The results indicated that cultural arts education project has brought psychological, social and emotional well-being of participants and that it can be used to facilitate healing aspect of people"s lives. The study further provided various prospective strategies for further development of project and recognition of healing aspect of arts education.
