This thesis has focused on adjustment of heterogeneous survey network consisted of GPS baseline vectors, slope distance as well as horizontal and vertical angles. This scenario can be effectively applied to establishment of cadastral control networks in urban canyon where GPS satellite signals are readily blocked. To this end, theocratical background of cadastral control survey and network adjustment have been reviewed to derive an appropriate network processing procedure. Two samples of heterogenous networks have been subsequently adjusted to examine relevance and effectiveness of the proposed method and characterize accuracy of estimated coordinates sets. As expected, the accuracy of GPS surveyed points is superior to that of terrestial observations more than two to three times due to its geometrical strength and measurement precision. Nevertheless, accuracy of the total station (TS) surveyed points is within tolerance of the cadastral control survey according to the act of surveying, hydrography and cadastre. This statistically represented accuracy has been confirmed by GPS-only network processing.
