Third, maternal variables influencing online game overindulgence of elementary school students were mother`s age and working or not, mother`s level of understanding and the level of regulation on child`s online gaming, maternal behavior, and cohesion and communication to child. Lastly, negative communication, the noninterfering maternal behavior, the level of knowledge, and the democratic maternal behavior show 44.9% of relationships, explaining children`s online game usage, and it appears that negative communication is the variance that explains the relationship most well
