At this moment when we hold the most excellent educational contents in line with the Korean wave, the most urgent issue is to enter the world market. This study analyzed the necessity of educational contents’ entering the world market and attempted an approach to the necessity of dissemination of educational contents and branding of educational contents. As strategies for entering the world market for educational contents, first, the government needs to establish strategies with dissemination and utilization of educational contents for expanding cultural exchange with developing countries; second, localization strategy is necessary for sustainable growth of educational contents; third, coping strategies by forming local partnerships with the localization of contents are necessary because one-way dissemination might cause fear and resistance among local people; and fourth, the approach of educational contents to the Middle Eastern markets must be sought.
If the educational contents entering the world market have a positive impact on our national image, it may also sustain the economic effects that the Korean wave had originally had.
