在日 濟商의 기업가활동에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 재일제주인의 상공업활동 실태를 파악하고 지역사회공헌 현황과 특질을 해명하는 것이다. 본 연구에 대한 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다.첫째, 재일 제주인의 직종은 동경지역에서 음식업과 가방제조업, 대판지역에서 신발제조업, 음식업, 건설업 등이 대부분을 이루고 있다. 이들 직종은 재일 한인의 직종과는 다소 차이를 나타내고 있지만 제주도 출신자들의 경제활동 기반이 되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 재일 제주인은 정치적, 경제적 요인 등으로 인해 많은 북제주군 출신자들이 일본으로 이주하여 동경과 대판지역에서 상공업 활동을 하는 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 재일 제주인은 다른 회사형태에 비해 주식회사 형태로 상공업 활동을 영위하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 재일 제주인은 재일 1세에 해당되는 연령이 많음을 알 수 있고, 특히 80대 이상의 제주인은 현재까지 후계자를 결정하지 못하고 경영권을 계속 유지하고 있는 것으로 판단된다. 다섯째, 재일 제주인은 신발, 가방, 플라스틱, 봉제 등의 제조업 분야에서 가장 많은 상공업 활동을 하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 여섯째, 재일 제주인은 고학력을 가진 상공인을 중심으로 일본사회 속에서 상공업 활동을 하고 있음을 알 수 있다.
아울러 재일 제주인들의 기증은 지역사회 개발, 교육발전, 마을발전과 이 제주도 전반의 발전에 커다란 기여를 하였음은 물론 사적인 영역에서의 생활상태 개선에도 결정적 영향을 해왔고 향후에도 지속적인 기여를 할 것으로 여겨진다. 그러나 재일 제주인들의 기증실적을 시기별로 관찰하면 규모면에서 축소하고 있고 기증물과 기증선에서도 많은 변화를 하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이것은 그동안 따뜻한 인간적 관계나 교감이 없이 제주를 향한 투자나 기증만이 제주인의 관심사이고, 여기에 재일 제주인들은 허탈감을 느끼게 되었다는 사실을 말해준다.
따라서 본 연구를 통하여 재일 한인사회에 대한 폭넓은 이해와 관심을 가지게 된다면, 제주사회와 재일 제주인사회의 생산적인 교류를 모색함은 물론 향후 한·일간의 발전적 관계증진에 밑거름이 될 것이다. 또한 이러한 연구결과는 제주사회와 재일 제주인 사회가 불신과 갈등을 넘어, 서로인 인적·물적 자원을 안정적으로 교류해 갈 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보는 계기가 되었으면 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study on the actual condition of commerce and industry activities of Jejuian residents in Japan grasps the present condition of their administration and specific characters. In view of the result of this study so far achieved gives an outline of ; the category of business of Jejuian resident in Tokyo have a majority in the section of restaurant business and bag manufacturing industry and in the section of shoes manufacturing industry, restaurant business and construction in Osaka. However, these categories are slightly different from the categories of Korean(or Chosun) resident in Japan but it shows that is the basis of their economic activities,
In addition, classified by types of industry, manufacturing industry like as shoes, plastic and needlework has a major possession of 48%. In this study, the result to lead that looking forward both Jeju community and Jejuian resident community in Japan as well as Japan society will promote expansive exchange among them. This is applied to comprehend specific characters of Jejuian merchants and industrial in Japan and grope appropriate way of their activities by understanding the actual condition of them.
