The present study aims to analyze consumer’s tea education needs based on tea-related lifestyle and then provide basic guidance for the development of differentiated tea programs, which can provide learner-oriented education.
First, the types of tea-related lifestyles were extracted through factor analysis focusing on the tea consumption process. Second, differences in the general characteristics among types of tea-related lifestyles were analyzed. Third, differences in the behavioral characteristics of tea consumption by type of tea-related lifestyle were analyzed. Fourth, the overall needs concerning tea education were explored by studying the differences in tea education preference and its actual state, preferred educational variables, and needs for tea educational materials for tea-related lifestyles.
